Writing Group: Building A Sustainable Generative Practice
325.00
This class is designed to provide you with a stimulating, supportive, and accountable space for regenerating work. Over the course of 6 weeks, students will come together to brainstorm ideas, set their own individual goals, produce as much writing as possible, receive on-the-spot feedback, and learn how to build a more sustainable writing and revision practice. Using a variety of prompts, timed writing periods, and in-class lectures and discussions, you can expect to leave the class with a good amount of material you can continue to develop, a clearer understanding of how to revise your work, and some concrete strategies to build a sustainable writing habit.
Because this is a generative class and not a formal workshop, there will not be required reading of published or student work outside of class, but you'll be provided with a variety of fun and optional writing strategies for the writing that you do on your own time.
Class Format
This class will take place using Zoom videoconferencing. About 15 minutes before your class is scheduled to begin, you'll receive an email from your instructor with a link to join the class meeting!
