Wednesday Writing "Date" Night

GrubStreet Members, Boston Writer of Color Group members, and Write Down the Street community writers, this series is exclusive for you!
Many of us plan regular date nights in our relationships to keep the flame alive amidst busy schedules. It’s a way to prioritize the important aspects of our lives. For many of us, writing is a key component to our happiness, our fulfillment, and our aspirations. But how many of us make regular dates with our writing? Why does everyone and everything else come first? This year, make a regular date with your writing at GrubStreet’s Wednesday Writing "Date" Nights. Better yet, it's FREE!
Sign up in advance or just show up last minute. Come every week or fit it in when you can! The key is to schedule actual time with your writing to prioritize it in some way. Grab one of the seats (or a beanbag) in our designated writing room. Snack from the plate of cookies provided by our new Fabulist Café, and if you’re in need of writerly encouragement or inspiration, take one of our messages in a bottle to give you a boost. If you miss your writing and want to prioritize it a little more, make a date with it at GrubStreet!
Advanced registration is encouraged (so we can plan for how many cookies to order!), but not required. And if writing rooms ever get over capacity, we usually have plenty of comfy overflow space in our social spine nooks or community space to accommodate writers ready to write!
For your convenience, below is a list of currently scheduled Wednesday Writing "Date" Nights so far. If the program remains popular, more will be added on a rolling basis.
