Level: Teens
This class is full

Do you love reading and dreaming up your own fantastic plots? Have you ever wondered what it would take to write your own book? This summer, you’ll get a chance to turn your love for stories into the start of your very own novel! Over five days, you’ll come up with ideas for a novel, design a fictional world, develop unforgettable characters, and map out a plot from beginning to end. We’ll use writing prompts, character interviews, story maps, and other engaging activities to help you create the building blocks for your story. There will be lots of time to get your ideas on the page and share your developing draft with other students. This class is excellent for experienced fiction and fanfiction writers and those trying their hand at crafting a novel for the very first time. For writers age 13-18 ONLY.
