Open House & Info Session - Remote!
0.00
Love to write but don't have anywhere to get feedback on your work? Want to meet fellow writers and work under the guidance of published authors? GrubStreet is here to help!
On Thursday, April 23rd, we will be hosting our first-ever Remote Open House! We'll be hosting the session using Zoom videoconferncing, an easy-to-use platform where we've been holding our classes in light of the current public health situation. No need to download anything in advance!
In the session, several of our staff members will give you an overview of GrubStreet and who we are, and we'll dive into the new and recurring classes that we're offering this summer. We'll also talk about remote and online learning, as well as our plans to build a new center that will open in the fall! At the end, there will be some time set aside for a Q+A of follow-up questions.
This format also gives us the unique opportunity to begin thinking about and answering your questions ahead of time. We've created this handy survey for you to submit your most pressing Grub questions! We'll answer any questions that we feel would apply to lots of attendees in the session, and for any questions that are super specific to you and your writing, we'll send a personalized email back to you! We welcome all questions about all things GrubStreet.
Please make sure to pre-register, so we can email you the link to join the meeting on the 23rd, to give you plenty of time to get set up! We've scheduled this through 7:00pm, but there's no need to stay logged in the whole time after you've gotten the info you need. We only ask that you do try to log on by 5:30pm, so you can make sure you don't miss out on anything you were hoping to learn!
