Want to see your work in print? 2020 is your year! This seminar will cover every aspect of the submission process for short stories and creative nonfiction, focusing on the literary journal market. You'll learn how to find appropriate venues for your work, how to keep track of where you've submitted and what to do while you wait to hear back. We'll also discuss query letter etiquette. Using real-life examples, we’ll talk about the specific requirements and conventions of this genre, reviewing what should and should not be included in a professional query letter -- including the sometimes-tricky bio section.
