What happens when your draft loses steam? Or: what if you know where you want your story to go, but you just don’t quite know how to get there? Together, we'll discover and practice writing prompts, exercises, and questions designed to clear away any writer’s block. This class is for writers of any genre, at any stage of the writing process, who want to get unstuck. At the end of the seminar, every student will not only have a list of techniques they can return to whenever they get stuck, but they’ll have had time to practice at least one of them on either their own writing.

Class Format

This class will take place using Zoom videoconferencing. About 15 minutes before your class is scheduled to begin, you'll receive an email from your instructor with a link to join the class meeting!
