Plotting Your Story's Timeline
65.00
A story's timeline is key to creating a strong plot. In this session, we will engage in a hands-on activity that will assist us to plot the events in a short story in progress or a scene in a longer piece. Our goal is to tighten the pace of events, develop characters, and define the plot. Bring a copy of a work in progress, sticky notes, index cards, or anything that will help to create a visual timeline of your story.
Beginning and experienced writers are all welcome. Everyone will get some creative ideas from spending this writing time together!
Class Format
This class will take place using Zoom videoconferencing. About 15 minutes before your class is scheduled to begin, you'll receive an email from your instructor with a link to join the class meeting!
