No matter where you live, whether it be the city, burbs or countryside, this generative class aims to get you out of your head and into the wilds of nature. In this generative seminar, we will read work by Robin Wall Kimmerer, Aimee Nezhukumatathil, Ross Gay, Camille Dungy, Ada Limón, and Linda Hogan, & examine how writing about flora and fauna can be used as a tool to make larger statements about society. We will write about how the natural world shapes us and how we shape it.

This course is open to all writers of any level and genre who are interested in writing about nature.

Class Format

This class will take place using Zoom videoconferencing. About 15 minutes before your class is scheduled to begin, you'll receive an email from your instructor with a link to join the class meeting!
