When querying for potential agents, novelists will find that most agents require them to submit a synopsis of the book. But what does a professional synopsis look like? What is a synopsis’s goal, preferred style, preferred format, common pitfalls, and should you give away that plot twist at the end? Join literary agent Kaitlyn Johnson for this nuts-and-bolts session on the essentials of crafting a professional, effective synopsis.
