Are you writing a memoir and need a weekly deadline to keep you on track? This six-week online memoir workshop is open to memoirists at all draft stages and of all experience levels. The main goal of the course is to generate new scenes for your memoir, and to learn more about the memoir form. Each week, students will learn a new aspect of craft, read model passages or chapters for inspiration, and use prompts to generate and submit new memoir scenes for feedback. Students will leave the class with six new memoir scenes, and the motivation and tools to keep working on their drafts.

*Please note that while our handy dandy "Schedule" tab states a 6-7pm class time, there are actually no live meetings for this class! Assignments and deadlines will be given by your instructor. Students will have access to the online class portal starting at 5pm on the first day of class. Instructions for logging onto the online portal will be emailed to registered students before 5pm the first day of class.
