In this three hour seminar, we’ll explore the many connections between meditation and creativity, with an emphasis on the numerous ways that an on-going practice can shape your life and improve your writing.

We’ll learn the foundations of Mindfulness meditation, complete two short practices, and have a lively discussion about navigating the ups and downs of the writing life using awareness.
Whether you’re just feeling stuck in your writing, or would like a creative reboot, you’ll find plenty of inspiration in this session to energize your work.
This class is open to all writers and meditators, whether new or experienced.

Maria Mutch is currently in the Vipassana (Mindfulness) teacher-training program under Erin Sharaf, through All That Matters Yoga in Wakefield, RI. She is the author of Know the Night (a memoir), When We Were Birds (short fiction), and Molly Falls to Earth (an upcoming novel).

Class Format

This class will take place using Zoom videoconferencing. About 15 minutes before your class is scheduled to begin, you'll receive an email from your instructor with a link to join the class meeting!
