Master Poetry - Remote!
This workshop is for advanced poets who want to develop new content and deepen their craft. We’ll explore the building blocks of poetry: words, lines, stanzas, rhythm and rhyme, as they manifest in our own work and that of accomplished mentor poets. We’ll write and revise ten poems and discuss making work public via readings, online and print submissions, and chapbooks. Works read may include, but are not limited to: Ellen Bryant Voigt, Terrance Hayes, Natalie Diaz, Tracy K. Smith, T.S. Elliot, and Joy Harjo.
This class is by submission only and previous workshop experience is essential. Space is limited to nine poets.
This application deadline is has passed. Applications submitted after May 11th will not be reviewed.
The payment deadline for admitted students is Monday, May 18th.
