Have you ever cringed at being asked to submit a professional or artist bio? Writing a bio can feel daunting and tedious, but there is no escaping that it’s a must-have for professionals and working artists. Few resources are available to help navigate this grueling process, nevermind address the emotional labor that comes from documenting and summarizing our life journey. This workshop offers a step-by-step process for writing a professional/artist bio while providing thoughtful prompts and therapeutic exercises to navigate the ick of it all. You will engage your life journey with creativity, care, and compassion in order to develop a bio you can feel confident in and use for various occasions.

Class Format

This class will take place using Zoom videoconferencing. About 15 minutes before your class is scheduled to begin, you'll receive an email from your instructor with a link to join the class meeting!
