Make Your Prose Sing

Whatever your genre, you can employ many of the techniques that poets use to enhance the impact of their words. In this day-long session, piggybacking off select poems, we will focus on the sonic and rhythmic aspects of poetry such as alliteration, assonance, repetition, hard and soft sounds, and sentence construction and length. Bring paper and pens; leave with a better ear and lots of ideas about how to enhance your meaning and make your prose sing.
