Intro to Playwriting
75.00
This 3-hour seminar will use group discussion and writing exercises to uncover everything there is to know about writing stage plays: from building character to experimenting with the limits of the stage itself. Some texts we will explore include Luis Valdez's Zoot Suit, August Wilson's Fences, and more! Writers of all levels are encouraged to join. This course was designed so that both emerging and established voices can learn something new! Participants can expect to leave with a new perspective on the craft, as well as plenty of ideas for their next project.
Class Format
This class will take place using Zoom videoconferencing. About 15 minutes before your class is scheduled to begin, you'll receive an email from your instructor with a link to join the class meeting!
