Everyone's a Critic: Writing Reviews - Remote!
If you have an opinion about the Marvelverse, gaming, street fashion, Bridgerton, or the latest meme that you are dying to share then come learn how to write a punchy, confident review. In this workshop, we will read reviews of a diverse universe of things by wildly different writers. After close readings and discussion of what makes a good review participants will try their hand at writing a review on the topic of their choice—a book, a Tik-Tok video, a blog, a restaurant--and get feedback on how to make their writing stronger and more compelling.
This class will be hosted using live Zoom meetings! You will be able to participate in class via Zoom videoconference from wherever you’re most comfortable. All you’ll need is a laptop or a phone! About 15 minutes before your class is scheduled to begin, you'll receive an email from your instructor with a link to join the class meeting via Zoom–no need to download anything or sign up for Zoom in advance! If you have questions about remote learning, please feel free to reach out to [email protected] for more information.
