Creating a Cast of Characters in your YA Novel
75.00
Character voice comes from knowing your character well enough that you hear them and see them. As adults writing for younger audiences, sometimes the voices we hear sound exactly the same. In this workshop we will work through activities that help you build a cast of characters for young adult fiction who each have their own voice and points-of-view. We will start with an exercise to help you identify all of the key characters in your work then work on building memorable characterizations and voices for each that are unique to them.
Class Format
This class will take place using Zoom videoconferencing. About 15 minutes before your class is scheduled to begin, you'll receive an email from your instructor with a link to join the class meeting!
