During this half-day retreat, writers will be given the chance to meet and get to know each other while writing in small and large groups. They also will be invited to discuss issues facing writers who identify as BIPOC, and read/watch and discuss work by other BIPOC writers and performers. Though there will be an emphasis on poetry and performance, BIPOC Writers of all genres are welcome. This session will run for 3 core hours, with an optional 4th hour for continued practice and connection.

This session is meant to connect in real time with other writers to write together, commune, and build community.
