Have some poems you want to revise, but unsure where to go with them? This two-part workshop is for the budding writer seeking feedback! At the beginning of the workshop, we'll look at various poems by living writers such as Ada Limon, Jericho Brown, Xandria Phillips, Rajiv Mohabir, and Benjamin Garcia.

After exploring and examining their work, we'll workshop the poems of our peers. This workshop will be focused on driving each poem closer to its heart: what is at stake, and what kind of transformation is taking place to reveal what's at stake?

Class Format

This class will take place using Zoom videoconferencing. About 15 minutes before your class is scheduled to begin, you'll receive an email from your instructor with a link to join the class meeting!
