Camp #1 is overwhelmed with information. Too much of the advice they absorbed seemed contradictory or overly complicated. They’re not sure they even like agents and editors anymore. And dammit, if all those other attendees are trying to get published, how do they stand a chance? 

The application for GrubStreet's 2021 Emerging Writer Fellowship is now open. To meet the growing needs of our community, we’re excited to expand the number of fellowships we’re offering this year by adding a third award.

The Emerging Writer Fellowship aims to develop new, exciting voices by providing three writers per year tuition-free access to GrubStreet’s classes and Muse & the Marketplace conferences. Over the course of one year, each Emerging Writer Fellow will attend a combination of seminars and multi-week courses of their choosing, bookended by attendance at both the 2021 and the 2022 …
