Teen Summer Writing Fellowship: Deadline Extended!
The deadline for the Teen Summer Writing Fellowship has been EXTENDED to Tuesday, March 1st at 11:59pm (EST)! Apply now.
This free, three-week creative writing program is open for incoming 9th-12th graders in the greater Boston area and will be taking place on Mondays through Fridays, July 11th - July 29th, 2022.
Through classes, workshops, and readings, teen writers will generate new work, learn about the craft of writing, and gain knowledge of the writing/publishing world. In the spirit of writers' residencies for adults, each student will receive a stipend of $625 for their commitment to the program and their time spent as working writers.
We are planning for this year's fellowship to be held in-person, but this is subject to change depending on CDC guidelines. Judging from the success of last summer's remote program, we'll have fun and celebrate our writing no matter what!
