Now Accepting Applications for the 2014 Memoir Incubator

Grub Street is now accepting applications for our year-long Memoir Incubator program, which will run from June 2014 - June 2015. The Memoir Incubator is a competitive and affordable MFA-level course for ten memoir writers interested in drafting, developing or revising their memoir drafts, a comprehensive craft-based study of the memoir form, and a thoughtful introduction to the memoir publishing market. The course will again be taught by Alexandria Marzano-Lesnevich, who designed and is currently teaching in the 2013-2014 program.

About the Author

Grub Street studied writing at Grub Street, The New School, and NYU. His literary work has appeared in The Missouri Review, The Harvard Review, The New England Review, Narrative Magazine and The Good Men Project. He's been a finalist for Glimmer Train's Short Story Award, and been listed in Best American Essays. His articles have been published in The Sun Magazine, Utne Reader, and forthcoming in Slate. His first book, THE CARETAKER, was published by St. Martin’s Press this year, and a sequel, BOLLYWOOD TAXI, will be published next year.
