Muse 2022: Writer's Studio Sessions Materials Due TONIGHT!
New in 2022, the Writer’s Studio is a rare and exciting opportunity for you to meet one-on-one with a prominent guest author to discuss your writing, your life as a writer, and anything you would like to ask them about their own practice and writerly journey!
Submit 15 pages of your manuscript to an author of your choice, along with up to five questions that will guide your focused, one-on-one conversation with them. In a 40-minute session during the second week of the conference, you and the author will meet via video chat to discuss such topics as macro strategies for revising your manuscript, your writing process, artistic and professional goals, and anything else that may help your craft and your career!
We still have Writer's Studio sessions available with the following authors:
- Krys Belc (author of The Natural Mother of the Child)
- Calvin Kasulke (author of Several People Are Typing)
- Crystal Maldonado (author of Fat Chance, Charlie Vega and No Filter and Other Lies)
- William Martin (author of Back Bay, Cape Cod, The Lincoln Letter, City of Dreams, Bound for Gold, December '41, and more)
- Maurice Ruffin (author of The Ones Who Don’t Say They Love You and We Cast a Shadow)
- Sanjena Sathian (author of Gold Diggers)
- SJ Sindu (author of Marriage of a Thousand Lies and Blue-Skinned Gods)
