Muse 2022 Will Be Hybrid
With our community’s input and our tracking of the latest uncertainties around Covid-19, we’ve decided to host Muse 2022 as a hybrid conference — combining the best of last year's event with in-person gatherings to network, connect, and learn.
What This Means:
- Sessions on craft and publishing will take place virtually, as they did last year. Most sessions will be recorded and available for attendees to view at their leisure in the months after the conference.
- Parties, events, and other gatherings will take place in-person in Boston, and will follow the most current public health guidelines. As the conference nears, these entirely optional events will be announced and made available for an added-on price. For those who can’t attend in-person, we’ll host virtual evening events too, and will facilitate new ways for virtual Muse-goers to connect and network.
We believe that this hybrid format will both keep our community safe and let us plan in-person gatherings that are nimble and responsive to changing public health guidelines. We cannot wait to host you! For even more on Muse 2022, click here.
As with last year, Muse 2022 will take place over two weeks:
- Week 1, featuring sessions and evening events, will take place Wednesday, April 27th–Sunday, May 1st.
- Week 2, featuring the Manuscript Mart and more, will take place Wednesday, May 4th–Sunday, May 8th.
With this news, we’re now officially seeking session proposals for our 2022 conference. We invite all interested writers, authors, literary agents, editors, and publishing experts to apply to present at Muse 2022. The deadline to apply is 11:59pm EST on Monday, September 6th, 2021. Apply here!
