The new GrubStreet has seven bright and spacious classrooms. Every classroom features a screen, microphones, speakers, and cameras to facilitate remote learning. Two of the classrooms also include assistive listening technology, providing more accessibility for students who are low hearing. Before we open, we hope to be able to install that technology in the remaining classrooms as well as the stage area. To learn more and support the launch of the new GrubStreet, click here.
Did you know that the new GrubStreet will be home to Boston’s only stage devoted to the literary arts? We’re so excited for all the events we’ll be able to host from the stage – including performances from our teen writers, book launches, and Muse-style craft talks all year round. It will be a home for artistic collaboration, creation, and programming across genres
Now that we’re officially through the Schematic Design Phase, GrubStreet's Founder and Executive Director, Eve Bridburg, shares the floor plans and other updates on our move to the Seaport.
