Get Help

By Tilia Klebenov Jacobs

Recently I was presenting my book at a senior center when an elderly gent demanded to know if writers had needed editors “back in the old days.”

It was clear from the tenor of his query (cranky) that he considered today’s generation of writers to be literary wimps, unlike those of yore who forged perfection unaided, presumably on the first draft.  (Which was one of the ways you could tell this particular gentleman wasn’t a writer.)
