The Launch Lab

The first of its kind, the Launch Lab taught debut authors how to be effective marketers and advocates of their work. Called “relentlessly practical and totally motivating,” the Launch Lab attracted national attention, and guided the launch campaigns of Marjan Kamali's Together Tea, Michael Blanding's The Map Thief, and others.

Testimonials

Kathryn Burak

"Launch lab brought me together with 15 other writers in a self-promotion book camp. We were all a little scared at first, but when we emerged at the end, we were a strong, confident band of writers, ready to tell the stories of our books to the world."

Ron MacLean

"Launch Lab transformed my view of 'marketing' and 'promoting' my work by challenging me to define concrete goals not just for this book, but for my writing career, and teaching me to focus on actions that will help me attain those goals. Relentlessly practical and totally motivating. I came out energized to get to work, and with a plan to do just that."

Ilan Mochari

"Few adult experiences lead to thoughts such as, "I hope am friends forever with everyone in this group," but the Launch Lab was one of them. And now I know how to launch a book, too."

Maria Mutch

"The Launch Lab was such an incredibly full and supportive experience. Instead of feeling like I've been launched into space, I feel like I have solid ground."

ML Nichols

"The Launch Lab unlocked my courage. It forced me to think bigger and gave me a new level of confidence. I came out with an amazing support system and a group of friends I feel I've known forever. I feel incredibly lucky to have been a member of the pilot program."
